Daffodil Cake Recipe

Directions

1. Prepare Angel Food cake mix as directed on package.

2. In small bowl, combine yellow food coloring with the water.

3. Spoon half of the cake batter into a separate bowl. 

4. Fold yellow food coloring water mixture into half of the batter until well blended.

5. Spoon batters into an ungreased 10-inch tube cake pan, alternating white and yellow batters.

6. Bake cake as directed on package. Invert and cool as directed. Prepare glaze.

Lemon Glaze

1. In a medium bowl, combine lemon juice and confectioners' sugar.

2. Beat in the melted butter and 1 tablespoon water until smooth.

3. Drizzle glaze over cool cake.

4. Slice cake with a serrated knife and serve. Enjoy!
